Ingredients :
- 5 tablespoons of icing sugar
- 5 tablespoons of hot water
- Spreadable Praline Paste*
- Coated Box*
- Mini-Madeleines*
Tools :
- 1 30cm high polystyrene cone
- Some toothpicks
- 1 piece of yellow gumpaste (star)
For the topping
In a bowl, mix hot water and icing sugar. Add the spreadable praline paste to the mixture, you must obtain a thick and not runny consistency. Dip the end of each madeleine in the topping and refrigerate until it hardens.
Assembling the tree
Cover the polystyrene cone with parchment paper. Using toothpicks tilted upwards, attach the madeleines all around the cone, spacing them evenly. Once the cone is fully covered, shape a yellow sugar paste (gumpaste) star, insert a toothpick at its base, then plant it at the top of the tree. Insert halved red coated candies between the spaces of the madeleines to brighten up your tree using toothpicks.
